Cortos por la Igualdad. Bases 2017

1. Personas participantes y temática:

Podrán participar todas aquellas personas que lo deseen y en sus obras se trate cualquiera de las temáticas sociales relacionadas con la discriminación de la mujer y su lucha por la igualdad efectiva y real: coeducación, derechos, violencia de género, acoso o abuso sexual; roles históricos, participación de la mujer en la vida social; conciliación con la vida laboral; políticas de igualdad; techo de cristal, suelo pegajoso; invisibilidad; discriminación laboral o salarial.

Podrán presentarse más de 1 obra por persona, productora o distribuidora. La obra presentada, no es necesario que sea inédita, pueden presentarse cortometrajes premiados con anterioridad en otros concursos, festivales o realizados por otras entidades, asociaciones

2. El género:

Será de libre elección, se admitirán todos los géneros creativos audiovisuales en los que las personas autoras hayan decidido expresarse: animación, ficción, documental, dramático, etc. Se aceptarán todas las técnicas en las que hayan sido realizados

3. Duración:

La duración del cortometraje no podrá sobrepasar los 15 minutos (títulos de crédito incluidos).

4. Inscripción.

La inscripción se realizará online a través de la plataforma MOVIBETA, en la dirección: http://festival.movibeta.com/web/controllers/proyectoController.php?action=2&id_proyecto=275

Formato digital recomendable para la plataforma Movibeta:

Copia comprimida del cortometraje con subtítulos integrados en inglés (tanto de diálogo como de rótulos).

Características:

– Formatos .mov, .avi, .mpeg o .mp4 (siendo más recomendable esta última)

– Máximo 500 MB

– Codec H264

– Hasta 1920×1080 ppp (recomendado: Tamaño en caso de 16/9: 720x 405 (mejor) o 1024×576; Tamaño en caso de 4/3: 720×576)

– Hasta 30 frames por segundo

– Audio: se recomienda codecs AAC / MPEG-2 audio / AC3 / AAC / FLAC / MP2.

– Asimismo es recomendable subir a Movibeta:

– Lista de diálogos en valenciano, castellano e inglés (imprescindible para los seleccionados)

– Archivo de subtítulos con códigos de tiempo en los formatos: SubRip (*.srt) o Spruce Subtitle format (*.stl).

5. Lugar y plazo de entrega:

El plazo de entrega finalizará el 8 de octubre de 2017.

Además del cortometraje en formato digital, deberá subirse al servidor: el cartel del cortometraje, tres fotografías y cartel del cortometraje en .jpg en alta resolución, trailer de un minuto en el mismo formato, una fotografía del director o directora -cuando haya más de una directora o director, una fotografía de cada una de las personas y otra de grupo-, copia escaneada del DNI del director o directora por ambas caras, cumplimentar la ficha técnica, ficha artística y sinopsis, historial de la productora, datos de contacto y cualquier otra información relevante del cortometraje.

6. El jurado

Estará formado por: 1 la directora del certamen, Paqui Méndez; 1 de CulturArts (unidad audiovisual), 1 de la Unitat d’Igualtat de la Universitat de València. El criterio del jurado será el de mantener el necesario equilibrio entre los contenidos relacionados con la igualdad de la mujer y la calidad cinematográfica de la obra.

7. Premios

Los cortos seleccionados serán bonificados con 500 € (impuestos incluidos), excepto aquellos que sólo tengan una mención honorífica del jurado.

La Unidad audiovisual de CulturArts otorgará un reconocimiento de especial significación cinematográfica a uno de los trabajos presentados.

El jurado podrá otorgar menciones honoríficas, a cuantos trabajos considere de especial calidad e incluirlos en un DVD colectivo para su difusión, así como colgarlos en su página web Cortometrajesporlaigualdad.org para su descarga.

8. Requisitos

Los cortometrajes seleccionados, facilitarán a l’Associació per la coeducació todos los archivos de vídeo y audio, incluidos los subtítulos necesarios (lista de diálogos en valenciano, castellano e inglés. Archivo de subtítulos con códigos de tiempo en los formatos: SubRip (*.srt) o Spruce Subtitle format (*.stl), para garantizar la máxima calidad tanto en la proyección al público como para la edición del DVD. Lista de diálogos en valenciano será imprescindible para los seleccionados.

9. Comunicación y presentación de los cortos

La comunicación a las personas autoras de los cortos seleccionados se hará personalmente una vez se conozca el fallo del jurado, que se reunirá la última semana de octubre. La proyección de los cortometrajes con debate posterior con sus autoras/es, se realizará en la Sala Luis G. Berlanga de La Filmoteca Valenciana (aforo limitado). Todo ello se anunciará con la debida antelación.

10. Derechos de la obra presentada

Las personas autoras, productoras o distribuidoras participantes con sus cortometrajes declaran, en su caso, haber obtenido la autorización expresa de las terceras personas cuya imagen hubiera sido utilizada en los trabajos presentados para su publicación, de acuerdo con las leyes vigentes. En caso de que alguna tercera persona reclamara derechos de imagen, derechos de autoría, o la vulneración de cualquier otro derecho de propiedad intelectual, industrial o cualquier otro de una tercera persona, la Associació per la Coeducació, quedará exonerada de toda responsabilidad.

11. Cesión de derechos

Las personas autoras, productoras o distribuidoras participantes ceden sus derechos, de los cortos seleccionados a la Associació per la Coeducació, de forma indefinida para la edición de un DVD .

Los cortos ganadores se editarán en un DVD colectivo, sólo cuando entidades públicas lo soliciten, para fines docentes, educativos, pedagógicos o de sensibilización social.

La presentación y/o posible selección del cortometraje para su edición posterior implica ya la cesión de estos derechos por parte de las personas autoras, también para el archivo del concurso.

12. La participación en este concurso implica la plena aceptación de todas sus bases.
